World Congress of Martial Arts

In 1975 Dr. Harold L. Mayle recognized that there was an "unhealthy" change happening in the martial arts competition arena. His desire was to preserve the Martial Artists' traditions of Integrity and provide a non political environment which upholds honesty, loyalty, sportsmanlike conduct, respect and friendship in martial arts competition. Thus with the many friends and associates whom believed as passionately as he, Dr. Mayle organized the WCOMA. For the past 35 years the WCOMA has expanded and evolved as a worldwide organization with integrity and strong family values.

Our Mission

To serve as the World Governing Body for International Martial Arts Competitions, which would benefit all Amateur Athletes. Providing a legitimate Internationally Recognized, competition arena for Amateur Athletes of every Nation. Allowing all International Amateur Athletes to represent their country in a safe, fair, non-political and family oriented atmosphere.
